How do I return an item?

We want our customers to be 100% satisfied with their purchases. If you are not completely happy with your garment you may return your items to either a Bachrach Store or ship your items to our returns department if purchased online or through the catalog. We will gladly accept returns and exchanges under the following policy:

  • When returning an item to Bachrach customers pay for return shipping of said item.

Bachrach reserves the right to limit or refuse returns made with or without a receipt due to certain circumstances. These include: unusual frequency, excessive total dollar amounts, and/or returns in multiple store locations.

Returns to store locations
 

All returns to store locations will be processed and sent to our fulfillment department in California.  If a package is returned to a store location this may delay refunds or credits entitled to the customer . Stores cannot issue refunds or credits for online orders, however exchanges are possible for items of equal or lessor value if a receipt and proper ID are present.

Made to Order Adjustment Policy (  Suits and Shirts )

For any alterations beyond your standard size, we recommend you take your suit to a local skilled tailor to get their expert opinion and make the needed adjustments. If they are unable to adjust your suit as needed, contact Bachrach to request a remake or refund. Because we hand make your suit to order especially for you, refunds and remakes are done on a case by case basis. 

General Merchandise Policy

The Bachrach General Merchandise policy applies to merchandise that is unwashed, unworn or defective and accompanied by an original receipt under the following conditions: 

Valid identification 

IN-STORE: (Drivers license, state ID, etc.) is required for all return transactions

ONLINE: Customer information must be entered into computer for each return/exchange transaction. This would include the customer name, address, city, state, zip code and phone number.

Returns 14 days from the date merchandise is received

  • Within 14 days from the date merchandise is received customers may return merchandise for a credit, product exchange, or a refund will be issued by the original payment method. Refunds do not included shipping cost. 
  • Cash refunds only given in amounts of $150 or less at Bachrach retail stores.

Returns 15 - 45 days from the date merchandise is received

  • Product returned 15 - 45 days from the date merchandise is received customers may return merchandise for credit, or product exchange only.

Gift Receipt Policy

  • Product returned with a gift receipt, a refund will be issued for merchandise credit, or product exchange only.

Sale Adjustment Policy
Unless otherwise stated with individual promotional disclaimers, Bachrach will offer a one-time price adjustment credit for any price changes that occur within 14 days from the date that your merchandise has either shipped from our warehouse, (online and catalog orders) or been purchased in our stores. For an adjustment on store purchases, please bring your receipt into one of our stores or contact Bachrach customer service directly.

Gift Cards Policy:

Gift Cards cannot be returned for cash or be applied as payment to a charge account. Gift cards are not refundable.  

HARD MARKED or CLEARANCE MERCHANDISE Policy : 
ALL SALES FINAL No merchandise credit, refund, or product exchange of any kind will be offered.
